We have returned to our normal cancellation policies (see Rates and Reservations for details); we strongly encourage guests to purchase travel insurance if an unexpected change in your plans would cause financial hardship. Be sure to select a policy that allows cancellation “for any reason” and does not exclude COVID; see, for example, www.insuremytrip.com.
For the foreseeable future, we will not be offering early check-in or late check-out, due to our occupancy levels and time required to properly clean the cabins and maintain the hot tubs.
We provide all bed and bath linens (please bring your own towels for swimming/water sports), breakfast supplies, paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, tissues), hand & dish soaps.

Located just around the corner from the Lake Lure Beach and Marina and a short drive from Chimney Rock State Park, The Arbor Cabins have been one of Lake Lure's top lodging choices since 2001. The Arbor is conveniently located, yet private. Each cabin and the cottage has its own personality and all are mountain getaway gems providing first-class accommodations for two. You'll feel our genuine hospitality from booking through departure, with personalized attention from a dedicated owner-operator who is never more than a text message away.
Come enjoy your own private deck with a sparkling-clean hot tub for two, comfortable king-size bed with all-cotton linens and plenty of pillows, inviting gas log fireplace (in season), Wi-Fi, Netflix and so much more. Feel free to sleep in, as your cabin is stocked with breakfast treats (featuring light baked goods, local eggs and fresh fruit) so you can start the day at your own pace, in your own space. All of our lodgings are delightfully decorated with antiques, collectibles and regionally hand-crafted furniture.
The property is nestled under a beautiful tree canopy and provides ample seating areas to appreciate the natural surroundings and--if you're lucky--wildlife including our adorable flying squirrels, chipmunks, whitetail deer, hummingbirds and lizards. The central pavilion provides guests with a large gas grill and outdoor dining area. Steps away from the pavilion is a cheery firepit.
